BEST BLOOD TESTS TO INSIST ON
I've seen this in so many clients. They go to the doctor, get some quick blood work done and because they are slightly elevated in blood sugars, or cholesterol or blood pressure the doctor immediately whips out that prescription pad. Not all blood tests are created equal. Let's back up a second. We trust the doctors to do the best and highest effective test they can to truly and accurately help determine what is going on with a patient. The problem is that the doctors don't. They do what the insurance companies require which is the easiest, least expensive and which barely scratches the surface of what problems could be looming. What is the most common blood test that is used? The most commonly used blood test is the serum blood test. Serum refers to levels of vitamins, minerals, cholesterol, sugars, fatty acids, organic acids that are floating around in the blood stream. "In the blood stream". The problem with this is that while this is a good general measurement, what really needs to be determined is what nutrients are making it into the cells where they can be used. The best test to use for this is called RBC or erythrocyte test, for example:
These tests show the levels of these nutrients in the cells themselves. This is the real determining factor as to the health of a patient.
Because, for example, a person with high blood pressure can be tested with a serum blood test and can show that there is plenty of magnesium in this person's blood stream whereas if this person had a RBC minerals panel done, the doctor's would find that there isn't enough magnesium making it into the patient's cells. A better approach to digestion with HCL/pepsin and digestive enzymes and proper food combining could rectify this, but instead, the doctor settles for the serum test, thinks all is fine and takes the route of prescribing HCT and hypertension meds -- masking symptoms AND never addressing the cause of the hypertension in the first place. The prescription meds create their own symptoms/issues and there you have it. The start of the meds compounding symptoms - snowball. A few words of advice. You are not alone. This is a very common practice by physicians. Prescription meds are over prescribed and that is an understatement. Please INSIST ON THE PROPER TESTING. Don't settle for the doctor telling you that you don't need to know.
Many symptoms can be alleviated by properly combining meals to enable a more alkaline environment. After you try this approach for a week or more, feel free to let me know how you like it. I personally believe that anyone who adopts this simple, enjoyable food combining method will reap gigantic health benefits.
This information does not tout popping pills or enzymes, it just deals with plain and simple food combining. It has helped every single client who has come to me with a wide range of symptoms. This is the easiest, least expensive tool you can use for the rest of your life and it does not involve pills! I wrote my own review of it here as well as teach it on a weekly basis....
